Linktree is a very good page of links. For taking payments, it depends on where you live: Linktree's direct selling (digital products, bookings, courses) is limited to a list of countries, and Ghana is not on it. A link-in-bio store that takes mobile money, like a Paylead store link, lets Ghanaian buyers pay inside the page.

What Linktree does well
Linktree is the standard link-in-bio page. It has a free plan, a clean editor, analytics, link scheduling. Its pricing page shows four plans: Free, Starter, Pro and Premium. Prices vary by region and show in local currency, so we are not quoting a number here.
For many creators, a free list of links to Instagram, YouTube and WhatsApp is all they need. If that is you, Linktree is fine.
What changes when you want to sell
Linktree's help centre says direct earnings (digital products, bookings and courses) are available in a list of countries. The list includes the US, Canada, the UK, the UAE, Australia, and many European countries. Ghana is not on it.
Other details from Linktree's help pages:
- Digital product sales run through Stripe, and you need a Pro or Premium plan.
- Linktree's fee per sale depends on your plan, and Stripe's own processing fee is on top (Linktree's page mentions typically 2.9% + $0.30, varying by country).
- If your country is not supported, you can still share free digital products.
So a Ghanaian creator can use Linktree to point buyers to a place where they pay, but not to collect the payment on the page itself, as far as the help pages say. Check Linktree's current list in case Ghana is added.

What a sale costs on Paylead
Paylead charges 4% + GH₵ 1 per online sale on every plan, including the free one. Payment processing is included. Withdrawals are a flat GH₵ 5, from GH₵ 50, paid the next working day.
- GH₵ 50 ebook: 4% = GH₵ 2, plus GH₵ 1 = GH₵ 3. You keep GH₵ 47.
- GH₵ 200 service: 4% = GH₵ 8, plus GH₵ 1 = GH₵ 9. You keep GH₵ 191.
- GH₵ 1,000 coaching package: 4% = GH₵ 40, plus GH₵ 1 = GH₵ 41. You keep GH₵ 959.
If you prefer, you can pass the fee to the buyer and keep 100% of your price.

- A simple, widely used format that visitors recognise.
- Link-focused features such as scheduling and link-level analytics.
- Direct selling in supported countries for creators with mainly overseas buyers who pay by card.
Where a store link is ahead for Ghana
- Buyers pay with the wallet already on their phone.
- One link gives you products, checkout and delivery, not just a list.
- You can sell physical products, digital downloads, courses, bookings and subscriptions from the same account.
- Share the link on WhatsApp, Instagram and TikTok.
Paylead is for sellers in Ghana only today. If you also want a plain list of links with minimal setup, Linktree can sit alongside it in your bio.

- Do you sell anything today? If not, start with Linktree's free plan.
- Are your buyers in Ghana? Then you need MoMo on the page.
- Do you have overseas buyers who pay by card? Check whether your country is on Linktree's list first.
