Introduction
Take subscriptions and payments in your website or app through Paylead, without your own payment gateway.
Paylead lets you charge people by mobile money and card from your own website or app. You don't need a payment gateway account, a merchant account or a business registration with a processor: your Paylead store takes the payment, and the money lands in your Paylead wallet for payout to your MoMo or bank account.
There are three ways to connect, and you can mix them:

What you can build
- A paid app or micro-SaaS. Add a Subscribe button, then check
GET /access?ref=USER_IDwhen the user signs in. - A paid community or membership. Sell a monthly subscription whose delivery is your WhatsApp or Telegram group link.
- A shop on your own website. Put Buy buttons or product cards on WordPress, Wix, Webflow or your own site.
- Donations. A pay box with amounts to tap, for churches, NGOs and creators.
- Your own checkout flow. Create one-off payment links or invoices from your backend and send people to them.
How money moves
Every payment, whether it comes from an embed, a payment link or a subscription renewal, is a normal Paylead order. It shows in Orders, carries the normal fee, and adds to your wallet balance. Buyers get a receipt by email and SMS.
Mobile money can't be charged without the buyer, so subscriptions renew by reminder: Paylead texts and emails the subscriber before each renewal, and they pay with one tap. See Subscriptions.

Requests and responses are JSON. Times are ISO 8601 with a time zone. Amounts are numbers in the store's currency (for example 50.00 for GH₵ 50).
