An FAQ section that sells answers the real doubts that stop people buying: price, delivery, trust, whether it will work for them, and what happens if it doesn't. To write one, collect the questions buyers actually ask you in DMs and comments, answer each in two or three plain sentences, and place the section just before your final buy button. A good FAQ removes objections without making the page longer to read.
Many sellers add FAQs as an afterthought, with questions nobody asked. Done properly, it's one of the most persuasive parts of your page.
1. Find the real questions
Don't invent questions. Find them:
- Your DMs and WhatsApp chats: what do people ask before buying?
- Comments on your posts and ads.
- Refund and complaint messages: what did buyers misunderstand?
- Abandoned carts: message a few and ask what stopped them.
- Competitors' reviews: what do their buyers complain about?
Write down the ten questions you hear most.
2. Group them by doubt
Most questions fall into a few groups:
- Is it for me? "I'm a complete beginner, will this work?"
- Will it work? "How long before I see results?"
- Price and payment: "Can I pay in parts?" "Do you accept MoMo?"
- Delivery and access: "How fast is delivery?" "How do I get the file?"
- Trust: "Is this legit?" "What if I don't like it?"
- Details: sizes, ingredients, length, format.
Make sure your FAQ answers at least one question from each group.
3. Write answers that reassure
- Answer directly in the first sentence. "Yes, you can pay with MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash, AirtelTigo Money or card."
- Keep it short: two or three sentences.
- Be specific: "Delivered in Accra the same day if you order before 12pm" beats "fast delivery".
- Turn doubts into reasons: "Is this for beginners? Yes. Module 1 starts from zero, and 60% of our students had never sold online before."
- Be honest. If something isn't included, say so. Honesty builds the trust that sells.
4. Where to put it
Put the FAQ after your offer, testimonials and price, and before your final buy button. The buyer reads it at the moment they're deciding, then sees the button.
On long pages, a short FAQ near the top ("Do you deliver outside Accra?") can also help.

Services and bookings 13. What's included in the package? 14. How many revisions do I get? 15. Can I pay a deposit and the rest later? 16. What if I need to cancel or move my booking? 17. How soon can you start?
Trust and payment 18. How do I pay? 19. Is my payment safe? 20. Who are you, and why should I trust you?
6. An example
How do I get the course after I pay? Straight after payment you get an email with your access link. You can start watching on your phone or laptop immediately.
Can I pay in parts? Yes. Message us and we'll send an invoice you can pay in two parts: half now, half in 30 days.
What if it's not for me? Watch the first module. If it's not right for you, message us within 3 days for a full refund.
Only promise what you actually offer. If you don't do part payments or refunds, leave those questions out or answer them honestly.
7. Add FAQs on Paylead
You can add a short FAQ at the end of any product description. On funnels and sales pages you build in Paylead, add an FAQ section before the final buy button, or ask Paylead AI to write one from the questions you collected. See how to write a sales page that sells.
Frequently asked questions
How many questions should an FAQ have?
Five to ten for most pages. Enough to answer the main doubts, not so many that it becomes a wall of text.
Should I put prices in the FAQ?
Your price should be clear elsewhere on the page. Use the FAQ for payment questions like part payments, MoMo and fees.
Can an FAQ help SEO?
Yes. Clear questions and answers can match what people search on Google, and help your page show up for them.
