How to sell skincare products online in Ghana

To sell skincare products online in Ghana, list each product with honest photos, sizes and ingredients, sell routines as bundles, and make reordering easy. On Paylead, buyers pay by MoMo or card or on delivery, bundles show how much buyers save, and reminders and emails bring customers back when they run out.

Step by step

  1. Create your free Paylead account and set up your store with your brand colours.
  2. Add each product: Create product → Physical Product: add a physical product.
  3. Use clear photos, the full ingredient list, who it suits (skin type) and how to use it.
  4. Add sizes (50 ml, 100 ml) as options, each with its own price and stock.
  5. Turn on Limit how many you can sell so you never oversell.
  6. Set your store's delivery fee and, if you want, pay on delivery.

What it costs

Online payments cost 4% + GH₵ 1. A GH₵ 350 routine costs GH₵ 15. Pay on delivery costs 2% + GH₵ 1. The Starter plan is free.

Be careful with claims

Describe what a product does without medical promises. "Helps fade dark spots over time" is fine; "cures acne" is not, and it gets brands into trouble.
