Step by step
- Create your free Paylead account and set up your store with your logo and colours.
- Click Create product → Physical Product for each style: add a physical product.
- Add clear photos: front, side, the lace up close and the unit worn.
- Under Options, add the lengths (for example 12", 16", 20") and colours, each with its own price and stock if they differ.
- Turn on Limit how many you can sell so a style stops selling when you run out.
- Set your delivery fee for the whole store in Store Settings → Payments, with a free-delivery amount if you want one.
- Decide on pay on delivery. If it is on, buyers choose Pay now or Pay on delivery at checkout.
- Share your store link in your bio, status and ads: share your store link.
After an order
Open it in Sales: it shows the address, phone number and amount to collect. Print the waybill for your rider, mark it shipped, and the buyer follows it on their tracking page. If they are not home, they can pick another day themselves.
What it costs
- Paid online: 4% + GH₵ 1. On a GH₵ 1,200 unit that is GH₵ 49, so GH₵ 1,151 reaches your wallet.
- Pay on delivery: 2% + GH₵ 1, because you collect the cash yourself. On GH₵ 1,200 that is GH₵ 25.
- Withdrawals: a flat GH₵ 5 each, from GH₵ 50, next working day.
Tips for hair sellers
- Show the price. Buyers who see the price in the store order; buyers who have to DM "how much" often don't come back.
- Take a deposit on custom units (colouring, custom density) with a payment link before you start work.
- Sell the extras at checkout: edge control, a wig cap or a styling service as an order bump.
- Chase left carts: buyers who stop at checkout get an email and SMS reminder: cart reminders.
