To take bookings for tours in Ghana, let travellers choose a date and time online and pay a deposit or the full price to confirm. On Paylead, a bookings product shows only your open times, takes card payments from visitors and MoMo from locals, and sends a confirmation with a calendar file and email reminders 24 hours and 1 hour before.
Step by step: scheduled tours
- Create your free Paylead account.
- Click Create product → Bookings for each tour: sell bookings.
- Name it clearly: "Accra city tour, half day (4 hours)".
- Set the length and your available hours for each day, and days off.
- Choose Deposit or Full fee.
- Set minimum notice (for example 2 days), and the location: the meeting point and instructions.
- Share the link on your website, Instagram and with hotels and hosts. On your own site, add the booking calendar.
Group trips and fixed-date excursions
For a trip with set dates and a number of seats ("Cape Coast weekend, 14 seats"), use a payment link with a fixed price, a limit equal to the seats, and an expiry date. For deposits now and the balance later, use an invoice with part payments.
What it costs
Online payments cost 4% + GH₵ 1. A GH₵ 600 tour costs GH₵ 25. If a traveller pays the balance to you in person, that part costs 2% + GH₵ 1. The Starter plan is free.
