To send an email newsletter to your customers, pick a template, write your message, choose who gets it and send or schedule it. On Paylead, campaigns live in Emails: templates use your store's colours and logo, merge tags add each customer's first name, and you can send a test to yourself before it goes out.
Step by step
- Go to Emails and click New campaign: email campaigns and templates.
- Pick a template. The library has a launch, a flash sale, back in stock, a newsletter, a webinar invite, a free download, asking for reviews, winning back old customers, Ghanaian holidays and a plain personal note.
- Edit the text and add the customer's first name with a merge tag.
- Choose who gets it: all contacts or a tag (for example
bought:ebook). - Preview it and send a test to yourself.
- Send now or schedule it.
Your own sending domain
Emails go from Paylead's shared address by default. Add your own domain under Emails → Domains by adding a few DNS records once. Any campaign to more than 300 contacts needs your own verified domain, which also helps your emails land in the inbox.

What to write
- One idea per email. A tip, a story, then one link.
- A clear subject line that says what is inside.
- Use tags to send buyers of one product the next step, not everyone everything.
Stay out of spam
- Only email people who agreed to hear from you.
- Keep the unsubscribe link: every campaign has one.
- Large first sends to imported lists go out gradually.
