To sell art online in Ghana, put your originals, prints and digital downloads in one store, take commissions with a deposit, and share one link everywhere. On Paylead, an original sells once (stock of one), prints can have sizes, digital files deliver themselves, and buyers pay by MoMo or card, including by card from abroad.
Three things you can sell
| What | Paylead product | Tip |
|---|---|---|
| Originals | Physical product with a stock of 1 | Show it on a wall for scale |
| Prints | Physical product with sizes as options | Each size its own price and stock |
| Digital downloads (wallpapers, printable art) | Digital product | Delivered automatically after payment |
Step by step
- Create your free Paylead account and set up your store's look.
- Originals: Physical Product, stock 1, with size, medium and a photo on a wall: add a physical product.
- Prints: Physical Product with sizes as options.
- Digital art: Digital Product with the files: sell a digital download.
- Set your store's delivery fee, and say how you pack and ship artwork.
Commissions
Sell commissions as a service with packages (portrait sizes, for example) and use the buyer requirements to ask for the details you need and a link to their reference photos (or ask them to send the photos on WhatsApp with their order number). For big pieces, take a deposit with an invoice that allows part payments.
Reach collectors
- Put the store link in your Instagram bio and on every post.
- Show your work on your own website with a product grid.
- Email collectors when you release new work: how to build an email list.
