To accept tips from fans in Ghana, share a tip page link where they pick an amount and pay by MoMo or card. Every Paylead store comes with a tip page, ready the moment your store is. Fans can add a message, they get a thank-you receipt, and each tip costs 4% + GH₵ 1.
Step by step
- Create your free Paylead account.
- Open Store Settings → General and find Tip page: set up your tip page.
- Choose its look and, if you want, the smallest amount someone can send.
- Save and copy the link.
- Put it where fans already are: your bio, under your videos, at the end of your posts and podcast episodes.
Fans choose a suggested amount or type their own, add an optional message and pay. Each tip comes with a thank-you receipt, by SMS too when they leave a number.
On your own website
Add a floating Support me button to every page of your site, and fans tip without leaving: add a tip button. On WordPress, use the shortcode [paylead_tip floating="yes"].
What it costs
There is no monthly fee on the Starter plan. A GH₵ 50 tip costs 4% + GH₵ 1 = GH₵ 3, so GH₵ 47 reaches your wallet. Tips land in your payouts like any other sale, and withdrawals cost a flat GH₵ 5.
Get more support
- Ask, with a reason: "Help me buy a new microphone" works better than "Support me".
- Thank people by name in your next video or post (with their permission).
- Offer something back: a monthly supporter club as a subscription (Pro), or a digital download for your biggest fans.
