How to let staff manage orders without sharing your password

To let staff manage orders without sharing your password, give each person their own login with a role that only allows what they need, like packing and shipping. On Paylead you invite staff from Team, choose or create a role such as "Orders only", and they get an email to join your store. The Business plan includes 5 staff accounts.

Why not just share your login?

Anyone with your password can withdraw your money, change your payout number and delete products. And when a staff member leaves, you have to change everything. Separate logins with limited roles fix both.

Step by step

  1. Open the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Team: invite your team.
  2. Invite a member by email.
  3. Choose their role. Roles decide what they can see and change.
  4. They get an email to join your store and set up their own login.

Make your own roles

Create roles in Team → Roles, for example:

  • Orders only: sees orders, prints waybills and marks them shipped.
  • Products: adds and edits products and stock.
  • Marketing: sends emails and SMS campaigns.

Keep money (withdrawals, payout accounts) with the owner.

Good habits

  • One login per person, never shared.
  • Give the smallest role that lets them do the job.
  • Remove access the day someone leaves.
