The free setup, step by step
- Create your free Paylead account. No card needed.
- Click Create product → Digital Product: sell a digital download.
- Upload your PDF, add a cover and a description.
- Set your price, or pay what you want with a minimum.
- Share the link on WhatsApp, Instagram and TikTok.
Buyers pay and the download link arrives on their receipt and by email straight away.
What a sale really costs
On a GH₵ 50 ebook, the fee is 4% + GH₵ 1 = GH₵ 3, so GH₵ 47 reaches your wallet. Turn on Customer pays transaction charges and you keep the full GH₵ 50. Withdrawals to MoMo or bank cost a flat GH₵ 5, from GH₵ 50.
When paying for a plan makes sense
The free plan includes one live funnel (sales page) and 150 contacts. Pro (GH₵ 149 a month) removes Paylead branding and the limits, and adds subscriptions. Most new authors don't need it until they are selling regularly. See plans and fees.
