To move from Selar to Paylead, export your products (and customers) from Selar, upload the file in Paylead's Imports, finish each product, and switch the link in your bio. You can run both side by side while you move, so you never stop selling. Product imports are free on every plan.
Before you start
- Keep selling on Selar until your Paylead store is ready.
- Make a list of your best sellers. Move those first.
- Collect your files (PDFs, videos) and product images in one folder.
Step by step
- Create your free Paylead account and set up your store.
- In Selar, export your products. If you have a customer list there, export that too. (Selar's own help pages show where the export is.)
- In Paylead, go to Imports (or pick Switch to Paylead during sign-up) and choose Selar: switch to Paylead.
- Upload the file. Paylead matches the columns; check the preview and fix anything that's wrong.
- Start the import. Rows that couldn't be imported are listed in a report you can download.
- Products arrive as drafts with their name, price and type. Each has a short checklist: add a picture, upload the file, write the description.
- Publish your best sellers first, test one purchase, then the rest.
- Change the link in your bio, WhatsApp status and pinned posts to your Paylead store.
- Tell your customers you've moved, by email or SMS.
Importing your customer list needs a paid plan. Customers are added to your contacts, tagged imported:selar, with phone numbers tidied into the 233 format.
What changes for your buyers
They pay the same way, by MoMo or card, and get their download straight away. For physical products you can offer pay on delivery.
