Good Facebook ad copy names one situation the reader recognises, shows how your product changes it, and ends with one clear next step. Below are examples in four styles you can adapt, plus headlines that fit in Meta's space. Swap in your own product's facts: never invent results or reviews.
1. Short
Best for retargeting and products people already understand.
Turn the skill people already ask you for into extra income. The Side Hustle Playbook shows you how, step by step.
GH₵ 120. Instant download.
2. Story
Best for creators with a personal angle.
Two years ago I was charging GH₵ 50 for work that took me a whole weekend.
I didn't know how to price, so I guessed. And I always guessed low.
Then I wrote down every job, every hour and every cedi for a month. The numbers were embarrassing.
I turned what I learned into a 40-page guide, with the pricing sheet I still use.
It's GH₵ 99 today. Tap "Shop now" to get it.
3. Problem and solution
Best for practical products.
Posting on status every day and still getting "how much?" and silence?
Most of the time the problem isn't your product. It's that buyers can't see the price, what they get and how to pay in one place.
This short course shows you how to set up a simple sales page and payment link in an afternoon.
Learn at your own pace, on your phone.
4. Offer
Best for launches and people who've visited before.
The Small Business Content Kit: ✅ 120 social media templates ✅ Works on free Canva ✅ Use for your clients too
GH₵ 199 (was GH₵ 350) until Sunday.
(Only use a "was" price and a deadline if they're real.)
Headlines that fit
Meta shows roughly the first 40 characters of a headline on most placements. Keep them short:
- Turn your skill into extra income
- Your side hustle, step by step
- 120 templates for small businesses
- Price your work with confidence
- Learn it on your phone, at your pace
More formulas in headline formulas for sales pages and ads.
What to avoid
- Personal attributes: "Are you broke?", "As a single mum…". Meta rejects these.
- Income or health promises you can't prove.
- Walls of emojis and capital letters. They read as spam.
- Several calls to action. Ask for one thing.
