## What Paylead is

- Paylead is an online selling platform for creators and small businesses in Ghana, run by a team in Accra.
- Sellers get a store, sales pages (funnels), checkout, payment links, invoices and email and SMS follow-ups in one account.
- Buyers pay with MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash, AirtelTigo Money, or a Visa or Mastercard card. Physical products can also be paid on delivery.
- Nigeria is planned next. Today Paylead is for sellers in Ghana, priced in Ghana cedis (GH₵).

## What you can sell

- Physical products, digital downloads, online courses, webinars, coaching and bookings, services, subscriptions and memberships, and bundles.
- Forms and quizzes collect leads; coupons, affiliates, order bumps and upsells help sell more.
- Embeds put a buy button, booking calendar, course card, product grid, newsletter box or tip button on any website. A WordPress plugin is available.

## Fees

- Online sales (mobile money or card) cost 4% + GH₵ 1 per sale on every plan: Paylead's 2% + GH₵ 1 plus 2% payment processing.
- The seller can switch the fee to the buyer at checkout and keep 100% of the price.
- Cash-on-delivery orders, where the seller collects the cash, cost 2% + GH₵ 1.
- Withdrawals to mobile money or a bank account cost a flat GH₵ 5 each, from GH₵ 50, and arrive the next working day.
- Sellers making more than $5,000 a month can ask for a lower fee per sale.

## For developers

- A REST API, signed webhooks and hosted subscribe pages let apps charge with mobile money and card without their own payment gateway. Docs: https://paylead.app/developers/docs.
- Test keys start with sk_test_ and run subscriptions with simulated payments: no real money moves.
- The API and webhooks are on Pro and Business. Embeds work on every plan.
